Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons as an offensive tight end in the National Football League. Gonzalez is regarded as among the greatest tight ends to ever play. Alongside being the NFL's leader for receiving yards, and the third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez was also the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.

The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as a FOX Sports Studio analyst. Gonzalez is anchoring FOX NFL KICKOFF and FOX NFL KICKOFF. FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame hour show that precedes FOX NFLSUNDAY. It airs at 11:45 am ET on Sundays during NFL season.
Gonzalez has signed a contract extension with the Falcons for two years and $11 million on March 15, 2013. This was despite having stated that Gonzalez had claimed he planned to retire after the 2013 NFL season. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez had his final season as the leader of the NFL's active players in yards receptive.
